And1 Mixtape Volume 3…The best Mixtape to date. Everybody was talking about this tape when it hit. Hoopsters who’d never heard of the mix tapes…hell never heard about And1…they even knew about this tape. The baller that makes this worth watching over and over and over again is Hot Sauce. This guy from the ATLANTA is straight up killing folks on this thing, he got moves up his sleeve like his windmill and boomerang that nobody had ever seen before. Another tight baller on this tape is AO from Philly; while he wasn’t getting people as hyped as Sauce was, he still showed off his mad skills. Other Ballers like Future and Main Event were still representing on the tape; you can check out all the Mix tape ballers on the 2001 And1 Mix tape Tour coming to a city near you.

Volume 5 was the re-introduction of Rafer Alston AKA Skip 2 My Lou. Alston had been playing Division I basketball at Fresno State University and had been trying out for pro teams throughout the past three years; Volume 5 marked his return.

AND1 Mixtape Vol. 6 (2003)

Volume 6 toured Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York City. The tape introduced former AND1 player and New York streetball legend Tyrone "Alimoe" Evans AKA The Black Widow. The 6'8" Alimoe impressed people with his fancy ball handling moves as well as his slam dunks. This tape also introduced Troy "Escalade" Jackson and was the year he got signed to the AND1 Team.

AND1 Mixtape Vol. 9: Area Codes (2006)

This volume shows the hometown and home court of every member of the AND1 team. It began in Philadelphia on the East Coast with Aaron "AO" Owens and finished with Kenny Brunner AKA Bad Santa and Jerry Dupree AKA The Assassin in Los Angeles on the West Coast. This tape officially introduced current AND1 players Andre Poole AKA Sylk and Hugh Jones AKA Baby Shack.

AND1 Mixtape Vol. 8: Back on the Block (2005)

Back on the Block featured a lot of "Crash the Court" footage in which the AND1 team goes to streetball hot spots and plays against the local talent. This tape continued to show footage of the newer members of the tour.

AND1 Mixtape Vol. 4 (2001)

And1 Mixtape Volume 4….The stuff was too raw…Hot Sauce tore that ish up…Isn’t no way” Well if you hadn’t already attempted all the moves from vol.3…you’ll have a lot to do this summer after checking Vol.4. Main Event, Aircraft, Headache, Shane “the dribbling machine,” 1/2 Man 1/2 Amazing, Hot Sauce, and AO. The Intro is really like a music video, and the cuts at the end ill’ have you Rollin’. Now to the footage…Main Event dunks over some of his friend sitting in chairs…Aircraft takes alleys from about 12 feet in the air and finishes them nicely…Headache is making’ cats look silly, then finishing with authority…Shane crosses anybody in sight…1/2 Man shows off his hops…Then there’s Hot Sauce…well if you thought he was hot in Vol.3, you isn’t seen nothing yet…The Flintstone shuffle was done to perfection…the boomerang had everybody wondering where the ball went…The tapes keep getting better, hosted by Set Free.

AND1 Mixtape Vol. 7 (2004)

Volume 7 documented the year that the AND1 Mixtape Tour really took off. Every game was played in NBA arenas and the best local talent was found in the Open Runs. Volume 7 was the year that Grayson Boucher AKA The Professor was found in the Portland, Oregon Open Run. The Professor went through all the stops on the tour before being named the winner and newest member of the AND1 team. Former AND1 player Dennis Chism AKA Spyda and current player John Humphrey AKA Helicopter were the other two finalists along with The Professor. Tony Jones AKA Go Get It also had some highlights on this tape as he played on the opposing team and was eventually offered a spot on the team. Also a brief appearance from retired basketball player Shaquille O'Neal

AND1 Mixtape Vol. 1 (1998)

And1 Mixtape Volume 1…When this tape hit the b-ball world it was amazing. No one had ever seen a tape like this before. The AND1 Mix tape put together the many different highlights of ballers up in New York’s Rucker Park with the latest music to hit the hip-hop world. Rucker Park is one of the most well known places for ballers around the nation to show off their skills. In volume 1, Rafer “Skip to my Lou” Alston is the main baller featured. He makes defenders look sad in this video. Skip is a playground GOD nowadays, and people finally got to see him in action when this tape hit Footactionos across the nation. The mix tape features new music by Sadat X, Mos Def, and Gzal Genius.

AND1 Mixtape Vol. 2 (1999)

And1 Mixtape Volume 2…Just added to what made the first one so great. This one had a bunch of different ballers featured in it like Walivy “Main Event” Dixon, Shane (the dribbling machine), Future, Half-Man Half-Amazing, and many more. In this video Main Event dunks on players and over motorcycles. He was dunking everywhere on this tape. Shane and Future showed off their handles and creativity with under the leg passes and nasty crossovers. Most other cats like Half Man Half Amazing were on the receiving end of alley oops from other New York ballers. Volume 2 features new music by Mos Def, Busta Rhymes, Ras Kass, and Deadly Snakes. Both mix tapes were hosted by Set Free.
