"Hamtaro" revolves around a hamster named Hamtaro, who is owned by a 10-year-old girl named Laura Haruna (Hiroko Haruna in the Japanese/Original version). Curious by nature, he ventures out each day to make friends and go on adventures with a clan of fellow hamster friends known as The Ham-Hams.

Hamtaro: Miracle in Aurora Valley (2003)

A young fairy hamster named Crystal appears before Bijou. In the snow, the two vanish off somewhere. The Ham-Hams give chase and arrive in the legendary Aurora Village. Legendary hamsters of the winter called Snow Hams live here. The Ham-Hams are told that it has not snowed in the village for a long time. The Snow Hams are troubled because it is hot even though it is winter. They also say that Snow Princess Bijou is the one who can help. But, Bijou is kidnapped by a mysterious pirate ship! Pirate Hams who hate the cold start to interfere in order to prevent snowing. The Ham-Hams picket against the captain of the pirate ship to get Bijou back. The talks with the pirates result in the decision to put Bijou on the line in a Ham-Ham Grand Prix. The competition between Hamtaro and the captain consists of running, skiing, Formula car racing and others. Can Hamtaro win the Grand Prix and save Bijou?

Hamtaro: The Captive Princess (2002)

Lately, Hamtaro has been having a strange dream. In the dream, a beautiful princess hamster tearfully asks for help. When Hamtaro tells his friends about it, Maxwell pulls out a Ham-Ham source book.. According to the book, there is a homeland for hamsters called Hamja Kingdom. When the Ham-Hams build a sand castle and recite a spell exactly the way it is written in the book, they are whooshed to the Kingdom. When at last the hamsters reach the bustling Hamja Kingdom of hamsters, the bad magic cat Sabakunya appears suddenly, riding the giant sheep monster Mee Mee, and starts to trample the town. The Ham-Hams are told of the state of the Kingdom and find that Sabakunya has snatched the King's daughter, Princess Shera, and is pressing her into marriage on the Kingdoms Founding Day. Sabakunya is trying to take over the country. Something clicks in Hamtaros mind. Princess Shera is without a doubt the princess who appeared in his dreams!

Hamtaro: Adventures in Ham-Ham Land (2001)

Hamtaro is a kind Ham-Ham with a big heart. He lives happily with his owner Laura and his other Ham-Ham friends until... One day, while Hamtaro and the other Ham-Hams are out tunnel-digging, they accidentally stumble upon the entrance to a legendary place called Ham-Ham Land. Ham-Ham Land is a wondrous place where only hamsters live. Legend has it that somewhere in Ham-Ham Land, there is a magical sunflower seed that gives hamsters the power to talk with humans... So, with great excitement, Hamtaro sets out on a big adventure in search of the magical sunflower seed that will give him the power to share his thoughts with Laura. The great little adventure of Hamtaro in Ham-Ham land is about to begin! Will Hamtaro find the amazing magical sunflower seed of his dreams?

Hamtaro: Fairy Tale (2004)

Ayayam is a pretty hamster who excelled at everything. One day, however, she overhears her friends making fun of a picture book she loved and had given to one of them. She is so devastated that she decides she doesnt need friends anymore, locks herself into the library and hasnt taken a single step outside ever since. The God of Books sympathizes with her and gives her a Magic Quill with which she can effortlessly draw any picture and write any story she wants. Meanwhile, Hamtaro learns that Laura and her fellow students will put on Sunflower Taro as their next school play. Hamtaro and friends decide that they, too, want to try their hand at acting and prepare their own version of Sunflower Taro. In the course of preparing for the play, they are suddenly sucked into a strange Picture Book Tower, where Ayayam tells them that they will be characters in her new book – a new and exciting version of the well-known fairy tale Sunflower Taro.
