01x10 The Story Vanishes

I24 reports that followers of Muslim terrorist Maulana Youssef are responsible for a car bombing that killed an Idaho congressman, who had made a speech urging the State Department to deny student visas to Muslims. A Pakistani college friend of Ethan's, Ghazi, tells Bill that because of an interview Bill had done with Arafat, Youssef wants to be interviewed by him in Paris, so that the man can tell the world that he had nothing to do with it. Bill and Ethan head off to Paris where they agree to the terrorists' insane demands, and are rewarded by being taken hostage before ever getting to see Youssef. Although they finally get the interview and are let go, Youssef keeps the tape. Meanwhile, Janet is infuriated when somebody, presumably Jamie, pins up an article in the newsroom that denounces her as a "lightweight." When she goes to Peter to complain, he tells her that, with Bill away, she has her chance to prove to the guilty party that she's not. And manic-depressive Allison neglects t

Storyline
