A Jewish jeweler is gunned down outside of his shop. His widow tells Sipowicz and Clark that a white guy who's recently converted to Islam had been giving her husband some trouble lately. Clark gets the address for Tim Garrity, the recent convert to Islam; just as Jones gets a call that Michael's aunt has been brutally assaulted. Jones and Medavoy go to the aunt's apartment.
