When the cab's plates are run, it is revealed to be Ryan Lipe, the cab driver that helped them out on the baby shooting case a few weeks earlier. Also at the scene, Officer Laughlin asks Clark Jr. about Ortiz's dating status, to which he is reminded that Ortiz just buried her husband a week earlier and that he might want to remove his wedding ring before he starts hitting on her.
