Storyline
In this episode, Big Bird celebrates the return of Linda from her tour of Japan with the National Theatre of the Deaf. Linda shares her experiences and teaches everyone how to sign "thank you" in Japanese. Throughout the episode, viewers are treated to a variety of segments, including "There's a Bird On Me" sung by Joe Raposo, and an Alphabet Dancers performance featuring the lowercase letter i. Telly Monster hosts "Cooking with Telly," demonstrating proper sandwich serving. Grover and Lisa share a heartfelt moment appreciating each other's features. Bob and Big Bird enjoy photos Linda took in Japan, highlighting cultural elements like kimonos and the Golden Pavilion tea house. Telly learns basic radio maintenance from David, and Linda demonstrates ingenuity by using skateboards to move a heavy crate, assisted by children. The episode ends with Big Bird exploring the use of chopsticks and the standard closing signs by Grover and the Count.
